Smart Smiles is a school-based oral health program that focuses on dental disease prevention. The child will receive a dental examination by a dentist and an oral health assessment and preventive services by a dental hygienist.
All restorative dental needs will be referred to your current dental home provider or a partnering community dental office/clinic. There are no fees to the child or the family for our services, but insurance will be billed if eligible. We provide the following preventive services:
Dental exam
Oral health assessment
Dental x-rays (as needed)
Dental cleaning
Dental sealants
Fluoride varnish
